Polish Floor Coating

Refinishing your concrete floor by polishing or staining it can be a cost efficient way to bring some life to a dull and flat floor.
Staining or polishing your floor will not only add some flavor to where you walk on, but add to its longevity. Even if you choose to polish your grey concrete floors or add a color, the polish will stand out for years if cleaned properly.
Advanced Floor Coatings is a certified applicator of several concrete polishing systems approved by the National Floor Safety Institute and when used as part of a comprehensive floor safety program, public facilities that want to provide extra protection against slip and fall litigation can treat polished floors with anti-slip conditioners.
Here’s how concrete polishing works:
Concrete polishing starts by diamond grinding the concrete surface with different types of grits to your desired gloss level. After that a densifier is applied to fill in the open pores of the concrete and serve as a resistant coat for liquids.
After the densifier dries, and some more resin hardeners are put in to fill in pores as needed, an indesifier is applied to give the floor its shiny and glossy look. Give it final buffer and you should have a beautiful, polished floor that will last as long as its looks are good.
This type of polish on concrete floors is used in grocery stores, schools, vehicle showrooms, sports facilities, warehouses, basements and airports.
